Flu Vaccination Clinic Times

Please note the patients who are eligible for flu vaccination this year:

• Patients aged 65 years or over
• Patients with chronic respiratory disease including asthma
• Patients with chronic heart disease
• Patients with chronic renal disease
• Patients with chronic liver disease
• Patients with chronic neurological disease
• Patients with diabetes mellitus
• Patients who are immunosuppressed
• Pregnant women

We will also be offering immunisation against pneumococcal infection to patients aged 65 years or over.

Patients should note that this year the vaccine will also protect them against swine flu and two other strains of circulating influenza. This is because swine flu is predicted to return this year in the UK and those at risk can benefit from protection against it.

If you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to speak to the doctors or nurses adminstering the vaccine.
