Quality Practice Award Presentation

On 27th May 2011 the practice was awarded the Royal College of General Practitioners Quality Practice Award for the second time. We were delighted to be presented with our Quality Practice Award by Mr Sandy Watson, the Chairman of NHS Tayside, on Wednesday 7 December 2011.

Mr Watson very much enjoyed his visit to the practice to meet the team and commented as follows:

"I congratulate Perth and Scone Medical Group on gaining this award, on the team approach which has been adopted throughout, and on the improvements in service to patients which I have no doubt have resulted from their commitment to the quality ambitions of providing people-centred, safe and effective care. I very much hope that other practices will follow the Group in what is a substantial achievement in the cause of improvement".
