The Reception/Admin Team
We have a multi-skilled team with individual administrative responsibilities.
Lyn Williamson joined the practice as Office Manager in 2001 and in April 2015 became our Practice Manager.
Lyn is responsible for the full range of management duties within the practice, including:
- strategic and operational management
- financial planning and management
- human resources
- health and safety
- management of the premises
- complaints and procedures
The Practice Manager can be contacted via reception.
Reception and Administration Team
The Reception Team
The experienced reception/administration staff and are the first point of contact between the patient and the practice. They carry out the full range of tasks which are essential to the efficient and effective running of the practice, as well as having individual administrative responsibilities. To ensure the practice systems and procedures are operating to a high standard we encourage staff to cross-cover at both our surgery sites whenever possible.
The Administrative Team Leader, Carol Wilson, supervises the workload of the administration team and deputises for the Practice Manager in her absence.
Please note: there will be occasions when the reception staff will ask for some simple medical details, particularly when making an appointment for home visits and telephone consultations. This is information the doctors have asked for so that they can give priority to the most urgent cases.
