Your child and coronavirus

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has released guidance on coronavirus in children:

"Whilst coronavirus is infectious to children it is rarely serious. If your child is unwell it is likely to be a non-coronavirus illness, rather than coronavirus itself. Whilst it is extremely important to follow Government advice to stay at home during this period, it can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured."

The RCPCH poster (pictured) provides some advice on symptoms and when to seek help. The poster is also available for download and printing as a PDF.

We are still open!

Remember that NHS 111, hospitals and GPs, including Perth & Scone Medical Group, are still providing the same safe care that they have always done.

We are open for non-coronavirus related issues, and are dealing with most things on the telephone. Please call if you need us.
